Grammy nominations were released tonight, and even though we can all agree that the hoop-la surrounding these types of awards is somewhat silly, sometimes they DO get it right. (See: Radiohead and/or Bon Iver and/or the Black Keys) Even though Kings of Leon have been bathing in Grammys the past few years, it still came as somewhat of a surprise to me that they got nominated.

Come Around Sundown was nominated for Best Rock Album, and their amazing documentary Talihina Sky was nominated for Best Long Form Music Video, which I didn’t even know existed, but whatever! The more awards, the merrier! Plus I’m almost positive that, considering the success surrounding the documentary, there isn’t a shot in hell that they DON’T win that Grammy.
Congrats boys! You earned it!
