Jared Followill is engaged. He asked then-girlfriend Martha Patterson to marry him on April 11 at his home in Nashville. Jared used proposed with a four-carat cushion-cut diamond he designed himself, according to JustJared.com.
“Yes, it’s true!” Jared’s rep tells the tabloid. “Jared proposed to Martha on April 11 at his home in Nashville and we’re all excited for the newly engaged couple.”

What, exactly, the side project will be is obviously still in question. It could be a full record, or it could just be one song.
The questions don’t stop there, though. I want to know the following: will the side project involve Jared singing lead vocals? Will it sound differently from Kings of Leon? Who will play in Jared’s band? How do the Kings of Leon members feel about it? What’s the purpose of the project?

MTV decided to shift some of its resources from the network’s 13 shows about teenage pregnancy to cover this weekend’s Grammys and justify continuing to have the M in MTV.
